I've been putting this post off for 3 days now, eventhough I've been really excited about it. I'm not sure why...maybe because I am good friends with the bride and I feel some pressure/or maybe because I'm just not sure how to sum up the weekend/or maybe I don't know how much or how little to share. But I'm going to try to edit my thoughts now:
-
Angela and I have known each other (probably) since 1st grade. She went to First Baptist Academy; I did not, but I did go to First Baptist Church. Our paths crossed over the years and we became good friends. I may only have seen her at camp, D-Now and FBA football games, but she was always the life of the party. Not much has changed between then and now. She is still full of life (and humor). Except now, she also is full of love for Josh Miller. They met at Christ for the Nations. And they are so in love! They are perfect for each other. It has been a blast to watch (and help out a little) with their wedding plans. On her quest for a dress Angela landed a job at Priscilla of Boston...if you visit there, say hi to Angela, she's the cute, friendly blonde girl! Her job and wedding planning kept her occupied as Josh's job took him on the road most weeks. I know they are thankful to finally be together in the same city!

The ceremony was gorgeous! Josh's brother-in-law officiated, his nephew Nick sang and Angela wrote, recorded and played a song for Josh. The ceremony was so personal. As I've seen often this year, they had a family prayer time. Both sets of parents came up after the Unity Candle and prayed over the couple...very special. Immediately following the ceremony, Angela/Josh, their parents, and the minister went upstairs to our small chapel for communion. We do not allow communion during the wedding ceremony, so this was a great alternative. It was private and intimate. After pictures, they were on their way to The Tower Club for an amazing reception. Josh's nephews sang during Josh and Angela's first dance. Oh, silly me, I almost forgot to mention ... Josh's nephews are The Jonas Brothers :)

Dear Meghan,
What sweet comments you posted about Angela and her wedding. I know it was extra special for her to have such a friend as you be a part of making it all happen. We so appreciate all your assistance and glad you and your husband were able to come to the reception.
