Alice Walker & Trey Grant

Heritage Chapel/The Atrium

Alice and Trey are precious together. They are both so sweet and gentle towards each other and everyone around them. Gentle is really the perfect word to describe them. It was such a blessing to participate in their wedding. Rev. Tony Evans of Oakcliff Bible officiated. The music was wonderfully worshipful. Trey wrote and recorded a song for Alice, which was played right before they said their vows. {We've had some really talented couples...lots of songs being written lately}

Their reception was in The Atrium. They did a great job of decorating. It looked full and abuntant, but it was simple items arranged very well. It looked very "fall." They had a pasta station and a carving station. Some of Alice and Trey's dear friends made yummy desserts to serve instead of a groom's cake. It was such a fun afternoon!

Michelle Sturges & Eric Alvarado
Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 @ 4pm
Slaughter Chapel

Michelle & Eric had an intimate wedding in Colonel C.C. Slaughter Chapel (sounds better if I put Colonel C.C. in front of Slaughter). I didn't get to snap any pictures...but it was an especially special ceremony. Michelle and Eric just recently accept Christ and decided it was time to steer their family toward Him. They decided to marry; and their sunday school teacher, Ron Cresswell, married them. They will be baptized in the next couple of weeks. I am so excited for their fresh start. They have such an opportunity to share Christ with their friends and family. I pray that they learn to love and lean on God as they begin their new marriage and new life.
