First ... THANK YOU to Melissa and Brian for serving our country in the military. We appreciate the sacrifices each of you {and your families} make each day.

Melissa planned this wedding from Idaho ... and she did a great job. The ceremony was beautiful. Brian's father co-officiated with a family friend of Melissa's family. It is always so special when a family member participates in the ceremony! Melissa's former teacher (from high school) read scripture; and a couple friend sang "The Prayer." Melissa and Brian are so happy and in love ... they are such a fun couple. They will be living in Arizona. Melissa recently received news that she will be deployed in a week or so!!! That's right (no honeymoon). Oh the sacrifices that those in the military make. I am reminded of it sooooo often. They are truly selfless. Please join me in prayer for Melissa's protection as she departs the country in a few short days. Melissa and Brian have such joyful spirits and they enjoy every moment.

I also want to thank Kim May. She did a fabulous job on the flowers and chapel decorations ... but more importantly, she was so respectful of the church. She followed ALL of the rules. Her husband and son even stayed to light the candelabras and immediatly clean up after the ceremony. Her son swept up every last silk petal from the center aisle. So sweet. I really do appreciate Kim, Kim's husband and son.
FYI - most florists are very respectful. I just felt Kim went above and beyond.
