Colonel C.C. Slaughter Chapel

Slaughter Chapel (scary name, but cute chapel) is pretty small. It seats 50-60 guests, but it is beautiful, surrounded by wood and stained glass. The chapel is too small for me to step inside and watch the ceremony so I just wait outside. I snapped a picture of the ceremony through the stained glass doors.
I hope to get more pictures from the photographer!

I love this couple! Kanika worked in the St. Paul Cafe here at the church (until just last week, we are so sad to see her go). We all enjoyed having her up here. She is sooo sweet! I didn't get a chance to know Edgar before the wedding, but feel like I know him well after witnessing their ceremony. Kanika and Edgar's ceremony was so personal! They wrote out things they loved about each other and the minister read them during the ceremony. Some items were really funny and Edgar turned around to tell the guests the stories behind his "I love you because..." It was so hilarious. Then right before the kiss Edgar had all his guys "primp" him (straighten tie, polish shoes, comb hair, spray mouthwash in his mouth, etc). Edgar is sooooo funny! Kanika will have a live full of laughter :) I wish them the best as they move to Virginia!

Edie-Beth and Trapper planned a beautiful ceremony. Alan Lynch officiated and the awesome/amazing Michael Armstrong did the music. Edie-Beth and her sister-in-law worked so hard to make everything perfect and it was! The reception was upstairs in The Atrium. They purchased 100 electric tealight candles/frosted votives and lined the Atrium windows. It looked great!!
