October 27 and November 3

Sorry guys! I've fallen a couple weeks behind!

On October 27 Abbey Huneycutt and Ryan Dowdy were married in the Sanctuary. I was not here that day...so the only thing I know about the wedding was that the photographer was Jennifer from Perry Asyln . I'm sure the photos are amazing!

Last weekend, November 3, we had two weddings! I was completely geared up to take pictures (as usual), but my camera battery died as soon as I turned it on. I was so disappointed! So, please forgive me!
Lora Rodriguez and Abel Pena's wedding came first during the day. They were married in the Sanctuary at 3pm. After a few missing groom scares, we got the wedding underway! Lora choose many instrumental pieces from Pride & Prejudice. The music was beautiful. The couple recessed out to a lively Spanish worship song. There were hundreds of people in attendance! Their reception did not begin until 6pm, so Lora and Abel were able to stick around and takes lots of fun pictures around the church after the ceremony.

Jenny Barrett and Zach McLarnon were married in Heritage Chapel on Saturday evening. They are such an adorable couple. Zach was so attentive during the rehearsal, he wanted to make sure he got everything right! I really enjoyed working with them! We were honored to have Dr. Gary Singleton of The Heights here to officiate. They used the Organ for the Bridal Processional and Recessional and a String Quartet for the other musical selections. They did something I had not seen/heard during a wedding processional before...they asked the church timpani player to play his drum during the Bridal Processional as a fanfare. It was really neat! I have seen trumpeters, but never a timpani...and I liked it!
