I can't believe it's already September!
We celebrated the Labor Day weekend with the Seeds/Beal Wedding on Saturday. Alex and Brady were married in Heritage Chapel at 6pm. They are such an energetic, fun couple. Both attended Baylor University.

Alex hired Julie Smathers of Tie The Knot Consulting to help her plan the wedding and reception. I look forward to working with Julie again later this fall. Davy Knapp did the photography. He did a wedding here back in May; and I fell in love with his work. He is so talented! At the time, he mainly worked out of his Amarillo studio. I am thrilled to tell you that he now has a Dallas studio! Check him out...he's amazing! Look at his blog to see pictures of this past weekend (should be up soon). Serenata Strings played prelude music as well as pieces throughout the ceremony. Jerry Aultman played the organ and the piano (not at the same time :)

The ceremony was so special. It really began as the guests entered the Chapel. The House Party Girls were taking Poleroid pictures of all guests. The pictures were then put into a beatiful photo album where guests would later sign beside their picture at the reception. As the ceremony started the groom's mother and uncle sang "The Prayer." Later in the ceremony Alex and Brady read each other their own specially written vows. A family prayer followed the exchanging of rings. During the family prayer both sets of parents and all siblings came up on stage with the couple. The father of the groom led the family prayer time. It was very neat to witness!

Alex used two of our candelabras and Earth Blooms (214-823-6222) tied the floral arrangements to the front of the candelabras. It looked great! It's a nice alternative to putting floral arrangements on pedestals. Their reception was at the Dallas World Aquarium .
