July 28, 2007

I'm finally caught up on wedding postings! Sorry for the delay. I got a new fancy 7 port USB hub a few weeks ago and it no longer automatically recongnized my digital camera. I tried many times to re-install it so I could download all my wedding pics. Finally , I called Jeff, our IT guy, and of course, it processed to work just fine when HE tried it. So I'm back up and operating!
ENJOY, there's lots to read and see!

This was a busy wedding weekend! We kicked things off early in the week with a Thursday night rehearsal, followed by Friday's wedding and second rehearsal. Saturday we hosted the second wedding and a reception! WHEW!

Holly Greene & Kevin Bartlett married in Heritage Chapel on Friday night at 7:30pm. Holly's sister was married in the Sanctuary several years ago. Holly even used the same aisle decorations (electric candelabras that attached to the pews). It looked great! As if a family wedding isn't enough for one weekend, Holly's sister, aka Matron of Honor, was 9 months pregnant!! I later found out she had the baby the following Tuesday. The adorable 5 year old flower girl was Holly's niece; she said, "after the wedding my mom is going to have a baby!" What a weekend for the entire family!

Another wedding full of gorgeous flowers. These were done by Dr. Delphinium. The photographer was Michelle Porter of Peyronet Photography. Check out the blog at http://www.peyronetphotography.blogspot.com/ .

The day, Saturday @ 2pm Elizabeth Elliott & Andrew Gore were married in Heritage Chapel. Their reception took place at the church in The Atrium. Elizabeth and Andrew both attended FBA and began dating in high school. They took their relationship to Baylor; and returned to the place they met for their wedding. They are such an adorable couple. Elizabeth couldn't stop smiling at Andrew during the ceremony...it was too cute! The couple will reside in Waco.

Their photogarpher was Roger Conn Photo. They are a husband and wife team. They are just the sweetest! The yummy cakes were from Elena's Cakes. First Baptist did the video.
