7.7.07 What an anniversary date! Addie Glaze & Chris Baggett will forever "easily" remember their wedding date. They were married in Slaughter Chapel (named after Colonel CC Slaughter) on Saturday evening. It was a sweet ceremony for a sweet couple. Chris is in the military and is currently stationed in El Paso. Addie is moving with him to El Paso; and they will discover together where, if, Chris is deployed.

Over the past year we've had several military couples marry here at First Baptist. Each time it makes me realize more and more the sacrifices that our military men and women (and spouses/families) make for our country! THANK YOU!

Last Saturday Meredith Simmons and Luke Sammons were married in the Sanctuary. So Meredith just changes one letter in her name to become the new Mrs. Sammons!! (Kind of convenient :) Meredith and Luke have known each other since elementary school; and both attended Baylor. Needless to say, there were lots of Baylor alumni at the wedding.

I just came to love both families so much...very neat people! Luke actually played the guitar for my wedding three years ago...so it was fun to help him with his wedding. A family friend did the goregous flowers, Sandy Kruegar (hope I spelled that correctly)! Sandy also provided the candelabras. Luke Edmonson photographed the wedding...he was so much fun to work with!! And the vocalists were AMAZING! Such a fun evening!
